hey prefects!
this blog hasn't been updated in so long D: so i'm here to revive it. ha.
there's a couple of admin stuff you need to take note of:
- submit your november camp forms to me by tmr (Monday)! they're in mrs fern's pigeon hole, so if you haven't gotten it yet, get it tmr and hand in on tuesday.
- submit your you-know-what to phyllis to pay for ___. (i know all this fill in the blank stuff doesn't help, but still.)
- pass your ___ to lee rui for the vanguard sheets!
- TDC: pass your lunch money to marie ann, she needs to pay aunty pauline.
- tell ella everything you're bringing/doing for you-know-when.

Hi everyone!
I'm posting cause I don't wanna minus the 171 words for my history assignment.
AND.
I've been looking through the photos of US on my computer (actually for my iPod)
all the fun, smiles and laughter in those photos (many unglams) makes me want to go back to those moments, Invest, Heritage Dinner, Kuantan, Board Outing, Sec 2 SCPB outings, and so on.
They were all very special!
I look forward to seeing everyone of you on the first day of school!

Hi Sec 2s,
I just stopped by here...
To post something.
Looking back at the 1 year that we've served the board,
I realised how much we've done.
How we have made a difference.
I also realised that we won't be sec 2s in the next board anymore.
We'll be like sec 3s.
And we will have newcomers too.
This part of me asks, and wonders,
who these new prefects would be.
This part of me wants us to be alone, again.
but, it's impossible.
Like everyone says, we must give others a chance.
So, we will have new prefects joining us.
And we must not leave them behind.
"Leave no friends behind."
Despite the fact that they're new,
they're still part of us,
or they would still be part of us.
And we must accept them.
It would take time but we'll make it.
I'm sure we will.
The seniors would be gone, replaced by juniors.
We would finally have junior prefects.
We would finally be able to experience what our seniors have.
I guess that would be something new.
But, the feeling of being in the 59th board,
and not the 58th,
is different.
It's weird,
it's ...
I will miss the times we had in the 58th board.
I will miss all the outings our dear Ella organized.
I will miss the waves and hellos in the morning before briefing starts.
I will terribly miss that kind of feeling.
The feeling we all shared for one another.
Care, concern?
We are so bonded, that can we bond with others too?
It's a question that I ask myself time and again...
Will we be too close that we will shun others?
I hope not.

Then Ella talked about Legacies,
and it got me thinking.
Have we really left a legacy on the board?
Have we impacted the school student body?
Have we really changed?
It's hard to think about the days before we were prefects.
It's like the memories of being a prefect are too overwhelming.
I guess that's the best part of being a prefect.
We would always have good memories.
We would always have one another.
We would always have 84 other people who would look out for us.
And rmb, it's an honour to be an SCGS prefect.

What have we done?
Well sec 2s here's a flashback.
1. GIB.
Where I became closer to people like Alex (Who I used to be enemies with!) Pei Yi (Pink, Nano Group Mates!) Lee Rui and Aisyah! Roomates who helped me when I was bleeding A LOT.
The late night talk we had! :)
2.081008-Sec 1 SCPB party at Ella's house!
HEHE where we played a lot of games!
Like milo and flour one, scavenger hunt and a lot of food and candyyyyyyyy! :)
3. Sentosa + Vivo (HSM3) 271008- Planned by Ella and Karuna
SO FUN!
HSM3 crycrycry, Izzah was like stoning at the screen.
4.101108-131108-MAD camp in School!
GOT EVEN CLOSER TO EVERYONE.
Welfare members!
Tree, HAHAHAHAHAHAH.
SLD members! (Roomiesss!)

5. 091208-Sec 1 SCPB Bolt outing at The Cathay!
3 of us only but it was still really fun AND 3-D! HEHE.

7. 300109-Investiture&Heritage Dinner in school!
Investiture, stress TTM.
But we still had a lot of fun.
I miss Invest pracs still. Sighhh.

FUN, like a vacation but it still taught us many lessons!
I experienced things that I never had thought I would try.
Like the cave!
Theeee speedboat thingy too!
Or the 100 year old bridge, which I totally freaked out on.
And you all helped me a lot! Like when I was really sick!
I puked a lot and stuff!
I thank you all for that! :)

Even though not everyone signed in every sec 4s books, I think it was still successful.
The sec 4s really aprreciated it and so did the teachers.
I think it was a really meaningful gift to everyone!
This is our journey.
Despite all our difficulties and troubles.
I think it was all worth it.

So updates!
1.Ms Leong's Farewell + Teacher's mugs
Well the farewell didn't go how I expected it to, but it was still great!
Dontcha think so?
I WANTED TO CRY but didn't...
Anyway, I think the teacher's mugs thing was a success! :)
Like Adila said she saw Mdm Wahida using it!
And the teachers I think were really greatful!
So thats good!
2.Sec 4's scrapbooks!
We had many miscommunications, complications and arguments.
But in the end it was a success!
I'm sure all sec 4s are very appreciative that they got those scrapbooks!
Though some of you didn't get to write in some scrapbooks, it's okayy! :)
It's the thought that counts!

You know when my teacher said we were going to have nominations, I teared a little.
